Hyatt Global Cleanliness Protocol

As a proud member of the Hyatt family, we wanted to share some updates as it relates to health considerations and new protocols moving forward. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Hyatt’s number one priority is to provide a safe and healthy environment across all hotels globally. The brand recently announced their Global Care & Cleanliness Commitment – protocols to further enhance existing rigorous practices and include operational guidance and resources around colleague and guest safety and wellbeing. This multilayered commitment includes three pillars to ensure all necessary measures are being taken. Each hotel will be GBAC (Biorisk Advisory Council) STAR accredited through a performance-based program that will focus on establishing hotel environments that are safe, sanitary and healthy. Hyatt is the first hospitality brand to announce plans to commit to GBAC STAR and will including in-depth training among hotels worldwide. By September 2020, every Hyatt hotel will have at least one person on property trained as a ‘Hygiene Manager’ who will oversee the hotel adhering to new operational protocols such as: • Colleague certification, trainings and recertification process for hygiene and cleanliness • Increased frequency of cleaning with hospital-grade disinfectants on all high-touch surfaces, guestrooms and shared spaces • Implementation of enhanced food safety and hygiene protocols for restaurants, room service and group meetings and events • Prominently placed hand sanitizer stations throughout hotel public and employee areas and entrances • Exploring purification and sanitization device installation in an effort to ensure enhanced air quality • Protective masks and other equipment for hotel colleagues • Social distancing guidance in public areas across hotel properties Lastly, Hyatt has assembled a cross-functional response team and engaged infectious diseases and occupational health experts to support COVID-19 researching findings. Hyatt continues to engage additional medical experts and leading industry professionals with the goal to counsel key areas of the business. Hyatt cares deeply about the wellbeing of their guests and colleagues and looks forward to welcoming all back to a safe place. We want to assure you we will be implementing all the above brand protocols for Andaz Turks & Caicos so our owners feel confident and comfortable with the safety of their assets. As a leader in the industry, Hyatt is setting the highest standard for health and we will continue to take their lead as things develop. We are here to answer any questions you may have during this uncertain time and wish you and yours well. Sincerely, Matt McDonald Managing Director, ProNet Capital LLC
